November 2007
Two days of training sessions were held at the Museum to learn about the Modes database system. These were attended by those with various levels of computer experience, and all benefited from the information learnt.
August/September 2007 - Museum digitisation project now well underway.
Artefacts are being photographed and will also be entered into the new 'Modes' database. This will eventually be accessible through the new website and also on a computer in the museum.
September 12th - 450 artefacts now photographed and 4300 archives entered into a preliminary database.
June 16th 2007 - Kington Museum celebrates 21st Birthday
Ken Reeves is awarded MBE on Queen's Birthday Honours list for services to museums
Ken Reeves and Virginia Mayes-Wright celebrate 21 years of Kingon Museum and official recognition of all Ken's work
Sue Reeves was presented with a silver key to thank her for her hard work and commitment to Kington Museum
Over 50 people attended the party and enjoyed a fine spread
