Volunteers & Sponsors

The museum is a charitable trust, run entirely by volunteer staff who help in a range of capacities. The curators look after the collections and assist in all the day to day management, other volunteers help with accessioning, collection management, assisting visitors and running the Tea Shop.  If you are looking for museum experience, wish to learn collection management techniques, or have always wanted to find out more about the history of Kington, you might wish to try volunteering. To become a Friend of Kington Museum, there is an annual subscription of £5 a head or £12 for a family of four. As a friend you help support the Museum and are invited to attend special functions. If you would like to become a Friend please do let us know.
